Mara Leigh Koslen is a writer living in Sonoma County, California. Over the past five years, she has taught college classes in creative writing, managed a public library, taught Brazilian dance, and was a recipient of a writing grant from the Asheville Area Arts Council with support form the North Carolina Arts Council. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from Naropa University and has performed her work throughout the U.S., France and the Netherlands. Her writing is forthcoming in Poetica Magazine and has appeared in the American Society for Aesthetics Newsletter, the Asheville Poetry Review and Jewcy, among other places.
